Health Translation Queensland (HTQ)

Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) is a partnership organisation that brings together 13 of Queensland’s major medical research institutes and health care providers. The core aim for HTQ is to help solve some of Queensland’s most pressing health challenges by supporting well evidenced research to be more quickly and efficiently translated into clinical practice.

Health Translation Queensland’s partners are Queensland Health, Children’s Health Queensland, Metro North Health, Metro South Health, West Moreton Health, Gold Coast Health, Mater Group, The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Griffith University, QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Translational Research Institute, and CSIRO’s Australian e-Health Research Centre.

As a member of the Australian Health Research Alliance – an alliance of similar NHMRC accredited research translation centres across the country – HTQ’s mission is to enable the translation and integration of innovative health research, with education, policy, clinical care, and consumer engagement across, the state and nationally.
