genomiQa is a spin-off company of QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, founded in 2017 by Dr Nicola Waddell and John Pearson. genomiQa’s founders are world leaders in the field of genome analytics, with a 2015 study in Nature Communications identifying the company’s pipeline as one of the top performers in the world.

genomiQa is the first company in Australia offering whole genome analysis of cancer. genomiQa specialises in the analysis and interpretation of genomic data (including WGS, WES, RNAseq, microarray) with quality as its guiding principle.

The company works with clinicians and health service providers to perform genomics in routine healthcare with the aim of improving patient outcomes. genomiQa provides custom analysis and reporting, cancer variants and biomarker identification, patient stratification strategies based on genomic output.
